Supplier spreadsheets rarely arrive complete. One range has no care instructions, another has no SEO copy, and half the lifestyle shots are still to come. AI Autofill fills those gaps column by column across your Agentic Catalog, so a new range is ready to list in an afternoon, not a month.
Two ways to fill a column
AI agent writes copy, looks things up and creates images, following your instructions for each product. Use it for descriptions, key features, care instructions, packaging, SEO text, your own attributes and product images.
Formula works a value out from your other columns, like a spreadsheet. It's free, instant and keeps itself up to date. Use it for retail prices with a markup, converting centimeters to inches, or combining a name and colorway into one title.
Set up an AI agent column
Open Catalog and go to Products.
Open the menu on the column you want to fill and choose Set up autofill.
Choose AI agent.
Write your instructions the way you'd brief a colleague, or start from a template such as SEO description, Care instructions or Packaging.
Under Uses these columns, pick the product details the AI should work from, such as dimensions or materials.
Open Advanced if you want the AI to replace existing text, look things up on the web, or fill every new product automatically as it arrives.
Save.
Tip: Prefer to talk it through? Choose Set up with the assistant. It suggests the right setup for the column, checks it with you and shows a preview before anything runs.
Creating product images
Image columns such as Cut-out, Lifestyle and Close-up work the same way. Pick your cut-out column under Uses these columns and describe the shot you want, for example "place this sofa in a bright Scandinavian living room". Add your own room or fabric photos to the instructions and the AI uses them as a guide, so a whole collection comes out in the same style.
Set up a formula column
Choose Set up autofill on the column, then Formula.
On Describe it, say what you want in plain English, for example "cost price plus 40%, rounded to the nearest pound", and click Build formula.
Check the preview on your first few products, then save. Every product fills straight away.
Run AI Autofill
Open the column menu and choose Run autofill...
Choose which products to fill: the rows you've selected, the current view, or everything.
Check the estimate. You'll see how many products will be filled, the expected credits and roughly how long it will take. You can set a credit budget for the run.
Click Run 10 sample cells. Look over the first 10 results, then click Continue or adjust your instructions.
Good to know
A progress bar above the table lets you pause and resume at any time.
View runs shows every run. Undo run puts back what was there before, and keeps any edits you've made since.
Click any filled cell to see when it was filled, or choose Revert this cell.
Formulas are free. AI agent runs use credits, and you see the estimate before every run.
