Every retailer asks for a different set of shots: a white cut-out, a room set, a close-up of the fabric, a dimensions diagram. Image slots give each of those shots a named place on the product, so you can see what's missing, fill it with AI and export it with the right filename.
The default slots
Every product starts with five slots: White cutout, Lifestyle, Close-up 1, Close-up 2 and Dimensional. Each one appears as its own image column in your product table, so gaps are easy to spot.
Add a new image slot
Open any product in your Agentic Catalog and go to Media.
Next to Slots, click Add slot.
Give the slot a name your team will know, such as "Detail shot" or "Back view".
Describe the shot, for example "close-up of the drawer handles and joinery". This is what the AI follows when it creates the image for you.
Save. The new slot appears on your products and as a new image column in the table.
Fill slots with AI
One product. Open the product's Media and click Generate on an empty slot. It creates the shot from the product's existing photos or from its name, description and details.
Your whole range. Open the slot's column menu in the product table and choose Set up autofill. Tell it to build the shot from your cut-out and add example backgrounds or fabrics for it to follow. See How to fill product data with AI Autofill.
Filenames your retailers expect
Each slot has a Filename template that renames your images when you export them, so you never rename files by hand again. By default a lifestyle shot for SKU ABC123 exports as ABC123_lifestyle_1.jpg.
Open a product's Media and click the settings icon on a slot.
Build the name from the SKU, the shot type and a running number, in whatever order your retailer asks for. View available properties lists every option.
Save. The new name applies across your products.
Tip: Name your own photos with the SKU and slot, for example ABC123_closeup_1.jpg, and they drop straight into the right slot when you upload them.
